Roses of Syria by Matthew Zangen
wary where war weary wares were rarely reared rarer,
we wire worn woe, when really we wore wear rearward.
warding growing rows, a worldly rose rose worriedly,
roaring warning: wars, like roses, rarely grow willingly.
