Chekov's Teeth by Bertram SparagmosMy only love
You came into my den
Because my fur is warm
And I feel safe
When my predator's eyes face outward
I hunt for you
I bring food
You sleep, curled up next to me
Finally
I ate your heart
It beat for both of us
Exhilarating
But unnecessary
Wolves, in the end, are wolves
My only love 08/08/2013
Author's Note: If there's a gun on the wall in the first act, by the third it should be fired.
