Staring up at the ground by Johnny Crimson
We make-out when the sharks stop moving
and the cows come crawling back,
when the heavy lady belts out her tune,
and when the money tree sprouts hundreds.
We kiss slowly,
when the government tells the truth
and Nirvana gets back together,
and the towers rebuild themselves.
You take me deeply,
when the horses speak Spanish
and Rome gets built in 24hrs
and the Korea's unite.
Yet, I can see your face,
in the books I read alone,
and in the mirrors of my mind,
and through the app that's on my phone.
We're so close to never being together.
