No Better Dwelling by Philip F De Pinto
No better dwelling
Than a fog or softer
More frugal esoteric
To lay truth's ever thickening diminution in
And trust it
Take me where it will
As in a grip
O'er every imaginable landscape
And shape
And if perchance it should lift
You will find me the more universal man
If not the better
And warmer - less purblind still
For having suited that fog
Not like armor but skin
None better to crawl in
Save it was your own
Softer derm - the plush of which I have never known
Or cared to know
To travel in its grip
The remainder of the trip
