Cool, Calm and Collected

and you never really know it.
I try to tell you,
yet never really show it.
I fidget, I worry, I scurry
through the day
desperately trying to look
cool, calm and collected.
I have neglected
my penchant
for living life
"on the side."
I want to run and hide
but this is never so.
This much I truly know.
So I simply hide
