Hold Tight by Thomas K. HuntDeep in sadness
At the root of it all
On the edge of madness
Hold tight or fall
Visions in slumber
In the darkened serene
Pictures tracing time
Dreams within dreams
Coldness in shadows
Quarantined behind walls
Exposed to loneliness
The worst disease of all
Deep in sadness
Behind the root of it all
On the edge of madness
Hold tight or fall
Time in numbers
Minutes are days
Moments are wasted
Never meant to save
Life in memories
Trail to the past
Bridges are burning
Burning to fast
Deep in sadness
Next to the root of it all
On the edge of madness
Hold tight or fall
Here in now
Lungs still breathe
With every breath
The taste of disease
Alone in thought
Alone in mind
Everything that was
Gone with time
Deep in sadness
Within the root of it all
On the edge of madness
