a chair
is still a chair
and a stair
is still a stair
and a pair
of balls
is just a pair
of balls
except of the pair
one was lost to me
in the commotion of descending the stair
nude - which leaves me
no choice if a pair
is to remain a pair
but to ascend the stair
and quickly - lest that lost ovule which is at the top of that stair
hatches a better plan other than to be a part of a set
and is off - solitary flier to accompany red sails in the sunset
which leaves me with and to mourn the one
lost and that ain't no fun
when you need two to jingle jangle jingle
