Twice is Nice by Philip F De Pinto
Once is too much
To lay on her face
Which has egg on it
One hole in the ground is one hole too many
To dig which you had never intended to refill
And rice is nice
To boil to make pudding of
Which may never be tossed
At your royal wedding
Though you wed shed the profusity of your clothing
For a commoner
Which is a common mistake
For a royal to make
Give and take a false orgasm or two
Twice is nice to wed
Even thrice
And one times one is always one too many times
To lay on her face
Which had egg on it
And one sitting may never lead to fruition
That is having a leap of faith
Frogs leap though they know
No such notion of faith
Which may morph them into Princes
Closing your eyes is having faith
You can remember the password
The open ses me to gape them wide to thievery
And seeing is freeing the vision
Laden in the mind's gallery
Seeing is freeing if not believing
And seeing is wishing
You never caught a glimpse
Of the egg cracking on her face
Which shudder the irises
Into foreclosure
