is what he's been
told - sold all of a life
lived in a studio apt.
thou art
not
apt to become
an artist
now or ever
lest you can draw
your own conclusions
which of course he could not!
nevertheless
drawing your own conclusions
does not an artist make
as this art not was exceptional
when it came to drawing
blood - yours!
he could draw blood
capture its likeness
like no other
so well
in fact
that hemoglobin
would consider no other
to pose for
but him
or any like him
who art not
or ever apt
to draw their own
conclusions
