Three Men Not Necessarily Wise by Philip F De Pinto
one man had everything
to give and gave nothing
another man had nothing to give
and gave all of that nothing
still another man who had nothing
but was in need of everything
got nothing from the man who had everything
and more of the nothing from the man who had nothing
but was willing to give it all
and if the man who had everything
gives nothing to the man who is in need of everything
and if the man who has nothing gives all of that nothing
to the man who is in need of everything
that man who needs everything will have more nothing than he
will know what to do with
and if the man who has everything but gives nothing
and if the man who has nothing but gives all
keep giving their nothing to the man who needs everything
they will have no more of the nothing they have to give
and the man who needs everything but who now has all the nothing
will be able to corner the market on having nothing
which would be a relief to the man who had everything
and was absolved of the nothing he had to give
and when a man who has everything is absolved of the nothing he has to give
he will have cornered the market on having everything
which is what the man in need of everything and the man who has everything
wanted all along - to corner their particular markets
and what of the man who had nothing to give
and gave all of that nothing? well given he was absolved
of the nothing he had to give was able to corner his own market as well
of those who have nothing left to give
of the nothing they had to give

Posted by Michael Anthony on 03/14/18 at 10:21 PM ive seen this too often. you give everything and though its not the reason for giving you kind of expect a little something somewhere on the backside. but like our heroes here, you end up with nothin'.

Entertaining, I liked it of course! |
