We'll Fly Away

tethered people like you
and me
are like a landlocked sea
for which there are no windows or bars
to view the stars
or door or cake
harboring a file
or key
for which to make
our great escape
like that sea
such exploration
as is emancipation
can only come to you
and me through
a process called evaporation;
it is via such wings as evaporation
procures that we'll fly away
in style
