the sun may dance
may blend with perfect endings
save ours never sat or stood a chance
tripping on the shadow of romance
seas may rave
may blend
with the wave of your hand
which held a spade
the latter will save
you the trouble
to dig yourself later
given a chance
the sun may dance
sea may rave
but an early grave
gets the worm
