but not yourself
Lord
another day
lacking kindling
and wood
and feeling to be
misunderstood
as opposed to misoverstood
stooping over our misoverstanding
of a parched relation ship
is not to
quip with spittle
negate the potential
to hydrate
the ship on dry dock
with tears;
we being weepers
but how
can we be finders
weepers
slip a parched relation ship
into the vat of our tears
given we are
pinioned in the company
of joy seekers?
and Lord
as you know
tears of joy
will not do
to slip a ship
seeking neither wood or kindling
or feeling
to be misunderstood
but simply to be
