Winter Cast and Fearless by Alison McKenzieIncense to the four directions
Speaking stones stacked,
Balance the forces of emotion,
Hold the energy of ages,
Absorb intention,
Merits of the dark side;
Ritual resurrected
Under a cosmic canopy.
It shall be written,
As above, so below;
In love, or joy,
Or sighs of the soul,
We shall find one another thus,
In the fiery gardens of Winter wheat
And snowless skies of Wind’s embrace.

Posted by George Hoerner on 01/16/13 at 06:06 PM Very nice Alison! And there be little difference between the dark and light sides. Maybe there is some difference in perspective as they mirror each other, for from lust does love grow and visa versa. The forms of contact vary but in the end it is the contact/commection that we all seek! |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 01/18/13 at 02:09 AM I find this piece quite bewitching, in that I sense a certain positive witchcraft at work here, especially with it Wicca imagery. It shall be written, As above, so below; In love, or joy,
Or sighs of the soul,...and so it shall. |
