Your Heart Races, I'm In Awe

by Anastasia Shows

I'm sitting next to you again,
and my head rests gently on your shoulder.

Now your arm is around me,
I nuzzle into your chest;
Your scent intoxicating-
and your heart racing...
for me?
but I thought it was
I
so lucky to find you.

and our lips meet,
sweet and sloppy
kisses
and
stumbling hands

the waist, I disappear.
that salty sweet taste.

and suddenly I'm lifted
figuratively, and
literally...
swimming through
warm waves of
pleasure
like that I've
never known.

I lick my lips,
you grab my hips.
here's to sides
We've never shown.

Well what can one say to someone as lucky as the two of you?
