I dreamed of you last night.
I don't think I ever dreamed of you
when we were together.

I sometimes wonder if
we didn't have all that
pressure and
stress;
Would we have made it?

If your parents didn't deem
us
destined to stand at altar still?
If we didn't jump so fast,
realized we had ample time
to kill?

If your brother would've lived,
would we have reconnected?
If we gave each other more space,
-If you had asked,
-If I had given.

If we were more mature,
Would we have made it?
