Posted by Alison McKenzie on 07/26/12 at 04:08 AM There is an air of mystery to this that is quite intriguing. It's unclear if the subject of this poem is totally aware or totally unaware of having been devoured, and whether or not the voice likes the aftertaste or not. Very interesting write, George! |
Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 09/02/12 at 02:00 PM I think it is the way of all life, that it devours all the while it is being devoured. I think all life is typically aware that it is being consumed though it feign what is seeming to be an indifference. As always, George, your words consume the reader to think outer the proverbial box. |
