Alone together

by Pall Kvaran

All these memories I don´t know why
They’ve all faded now, just you and I
In this cold weather
Alone together

I remember missing you
Now it’s different, yet still I do
as we lie together
Alone,
alone together

All these promises that we still hold
They’re all jaded now, the nights are cold
We´re close together
Alone together

I remember missing you
Now it’s different, yet still I do
as we lie together
Alone,
alone together

All these things we said about each other
They´re all true but now, let’s not bother
We´ll sleep together
Alone together

I remember missing you
Now it’s different, yet still I do
as we lie together
Alone,
alone together

I believe it happens all too often and so often it is hard to step across that invisible line between. Nice write Pall.

this is a theme with which I can identify at its heart. the loneliness which is common to all of us particularly the kind that concerns itself with lost love.
