Life is a constant struggle.
Each of us has personal goals
that we are aspiring to,
but there always seems to
be something holding us back.

Getting to know one another is especially difficult
for we are all looking for our soulmate
and rejection is hard to swallow.

It’s all a dream…
I have met you yet never laid eyes upon you.
I can hear you yet you don’t say anything.
I can touch you yet you’re so far away.
…yet at the same time it’s reality.
