Soul Mates

by Clara Mae Gregory

Reconfigure
past the trigger.
Broken hearts mend
becoming one again.
In this blend,
Binding souls
become whole
because their love
was bigger.

Author's Note: rough draft After over 2 years of separation, my husband and I are back together and working things out. I am happier than I have been in a very long time.

Yes, we are all humiliated by the sudden discovery of a fact which has existed very comfortably and perhaps been staring at us in private while we have been making up our world entirely without it. You have overcome! Thanks.

A good, positive way of looking at it Clara Mae. As a die hard romantic, it's always nice to see a couple try again. Distance brings fresh perspective to any relationship. All the best to both of you. Excellent poem to 'fit the bill.'
