Automobiles wait
In groomed and confident ranks
For men on their rounds

Morning sun reflects
From objects of man’s desire
Illusions of power

This nails so many aspects of the automobile and its place in our society. It is overwhelming to drive through a new car lot - your last line is so very true in so many ways. Thanks for this.
