I opened a box of Politically Incorrent Crayons

by Gregory R Schelske

I opened a box of Politically Incorrect crayons and this is what I found.

1. Ghetto WHITE (a white crayon that wants to be black)
2. Communist RED (only sold in China and N. Korea)
3. The BLACK Jackson (a black crayon that wants to be white)
4. Democratic Blue (this crayon holds the majority vote in a box of 64)
5. conFUSION (a blend of colors from the rainbow)
6. James Brown (the crayon that makes you feel good...OW!)
7. The Betty WHITE (that old, worn and broken crayon we all keep around)
8. Twilight (two crayons, one color...endless clichés)
9. PINK (stupid crayons for stupid girls)
10. Agent ORANGE (a highly toxic crayon available from the U.S Gov't.)

HAHAHAH. love it. is conFUSION the color mostly used by closeted gays or just the gays in therapy to rehabilitate their choice of sexuality?;) *totally tounge in cheek of course*

I love both the cleverness of the poem and Vikki's comment, too =)

HELlo MY name IS yelLOW green...a game I used to play with a friend when very young. We would color together, and talk for our colors, high voices for "female" colors and low for "male" colors. And then there were the "mixed-gender" colors, like yellow-green! Thanks for this memory. P.S. Like your piece!

LOL! Well, you gots "white" listed twice. Double the naughty and subtract the nice? Toooooo funny to me personally as I intend to marry a man with the last name of White on April Fool's day. He's always joking about how it's a good thing he's getting younger every day cause this getting old stuff would kill an older man... interesting read.

Can you please pass me the box so that I can get a purple? Representing the color of those of us who are survivors...and I color outside the lines. Good write. ~N
