Snackin' on the Sky by Kristina WoodhillEye
spy
bright silver
shiny, shiny
cookie
in my
sky
someone left a cookie out
hangin' in the sky,
bet you
hungry cookie eaters
soon be passin' by
little mouse
mouth,
nibble
nibble
sweet!
(hey, man, hey, woman,
why you watch me eat!)
someone got some milk?
someone got some tea?
someone got a dipper?
pass that big one here to me!
this cookie start to smile
this cookie start to grin
this cookie mighty tasty
this cookie getting thin;
cookie sigh,
sky,
oh,
sky,
bye
bye

Author's Note: Fantastic total lunar eclipse this morning. First time I've been able to sit inside and watch the whole thing from the comfort of a chair, binoculars and cats in lap.

| Posted by George Hoerner on 12/11/11 at 01:11 AM Really cute write lady. I recall seeing an eclipse of the sun one summer. I believe it was the early 70's. I was standing the sculpture garden of the MOMA in New York City. It was quite an experience. |

| Posted by Lori Blair on 12/14/11 at 11:13 PM Oh gosh..I set my alarm to see such a beauty and then it was covered in overcast skies..but now I am there as I had wished..Thank you truly! |
