yes, but all other
parts besides: a
tongue locked behind
teeth, thin nails
hooked against a palm,
a chest tightened
fast by old stays.
Is your sweetness
of word enough
to begin?

first dates are thrilling and nerve wracking at the same time...especially if they go well. Thanks for sharing, I really like this
