october mist

by Mary Frances Spencer

fogs my vision

positive ions
cool angst soothe
soul with breath balm

inhale the fresh
face fall
as leaves drop
away

stretch the bare sharp
branches up
scratch the sky

be one
silhouette
against
the moon

Author's Note: Had a misty trip tonight...kinda feelin' the Halloween energies of Fall! Namaste MFS

All kinds of things seem to come out of the fog, eh? Nice write.
