Thank you Friday that you have come
I added days then subtracted some

From Monday till now I made a wish
If Friday came I’d clean every dish

But now you’ve come what have I done?
Mom won’t like these tall tales I’ve spun

Now that Friday has finally arrived
I thank the stars that I’ve survived

I don’t wanna do any silly chores
I just want to go and play outdoors

So Friday can you help me now?
I’ll do it Monday I solemnly vow
