Song of Silence by Rula ShinRevelation, Oh Rose!
Subtle as
Your candor
Gentle grandeur
Fragility blooms
Compelling the
Mighty Earth to
Shudder at
Simple Delights
Silence caresses
The petals of her
Withering Heart
Lulling to sleep
The essence of
Life unmeasured
In death she awakens
Soft whispers gathered
By her ears with ease
As raindrops beg
To ripple lakes
Smooth as glass
Refuse to break
Stillness IS as
Silence grows
You bloom again
Oh mighty Rose! 09/27/2011 Posted on 09/27/2011 Copyright © 2025 Rula Shin
