Dragonfly Haiku

in and out the reeds
a blue dragonfly
- mother keeps sewing
- - - - - - - - -
stitching
water and sky together
- damselflies
- - - - - - - - -
late dragonflies
older than dinasaurs
yet so short lived

The first two haiku were accepted and published in August on 'Red Dragonfly' HERE The third inspired a poem I am working on at the moment, so nothing is lost.
