Wichita by Alison McKenzieI flew away from the sun that day,
Over layers of cotton-puff clouds,
Skipped along the peaks
Of uneven winds,
To land on the flats
Of Wichita.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/24/11 at 03:09 PM Glad you made it safe and sound Ali. My first experience with Wichita was listening to Glen Campbell's song, Wichita Lineman. Great tune IMO. Still have the LP I bought in the 60s. :) |
