drone by Vivienne Grantthe insistent burble
of information
flowing from your mouth
does insidiously
delude
both burbler and burblee
drone away . . .
streams and reams
of information
gleaned
from internet
seem
to be
your dubious
glee
. . . drone away
as welcome
as a science exam
would be
to a person like me
the stuff you spew
only serves to do
what the anaphylactic
would
when confronted by bees
shoo! drone . . . away!

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 02/25/12 at 09:19 PM Burble is such a great word to get the tongue going and wanting more, as is the various uses of "drone". |
