I Still See

by Tony Whitaker

I see you standing there smiling-still
Auburn sculpted waves of silk
Fell with full force across
Your salacious face, flashing
A smile so inviting, I feel
A short sharp shock
A younger life, now
Long time gone.

Author's Note: "Sitting here on this sack 'o seeds". Can you name that song?

Yes, I can name that song, and I can love this poem...I do!
