Camels by Paganini Jones
Camels can spit
Camels are grumpy
Look at their dress - you'll find
Camels are frumpy
Camels can kick
Camels are humpy
Some things they're not - e.g.
Camels aren't dumpy
Camels don't hop
Camels aren't jumpy
They have long, slender legs, so
Camels aren't stumpy
Camels don't sing
Camels aren't scrumpy
And, except once in a while
Camels aren't slumpy
Camels are big.
Camels are lumpy.
Go for a ride - you'll find
Camels are bumpy

verse order changed (the now final verse was the first but it makes more sense to have it at the end I think to give some sort of climax)

Posted by Linda Fuller on 08/06/11 at 01:57 AM Cute! I can see this as an excerpt of an illustrated children's book. And you certainly used an umpty of umpy words :) |
