GUILTY AS CHARGED!

an awful crime-
...BAD Poetry
It would be funny
(IF it was funny...
but it's not...
funny, I mean)
The sad truth
is that
Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder
....
and my poems are not
beautiful
Some are ok
Some are silly,
albeit fun
to write
I'm honest;
...painfully honest
I cry, I vent
but I manage
to "purge" a piece
or two
To me, poetry
HAS to be honest
to have any validity
My poems
are my form
of therapy
without it
....
I would not be
...me....
