The Wizard Spel'ch'kur

by Sam Richmond

The Wizard Spel'ch'kur

O' seek ye out the lear'ned Spel'ch'kur
Wizard with knowledge of a thousand men
A million more I reason would concur
They profit by his presence now and then
If furrowed brow doth riddle i's and e's
If bite'd quill doth struggle with thy muse
Should errant finger fumble with the key
Bid Spel'ch'kur unlock a spell for you
Though languishe'd in the leisure land of RAM
With simple search Spel'ch'kur is found
He'll right the write, unjumble jumble'd jam
The majik of his mem'ry will astound
When pouring o'r your rhyme remember this
In wisdom doth our wizard reminisce

I was distracted and maybe a little tired when I first poured over this....then, I "got" it....you are funny, Sam.....this is good stuff....especially the mispelling(metaphorically or otherwise, lol)!

So, did you enter it?

Very funny take on the use of the spellchecker.

You have a fine talent for humorous verse, Sam. Making the Spel'ch'kur a wizard is tooo funny, giving it the language from another age adds to the fun. Great alliterations throughout this piece. "He'll right the write, unjumble jumble'd jam" - my favorite line! Thanks very much for this.
