He survived but his sadness lived on by Danni BatesHe survived but his sadness lived on
The day he found himself dying
(But didn’t)
Brought him a world all his own
To live in
Exited- the beliefs of others
Entered- the force
Bringing his core to the surface
Where it demanded its rightful throne
His womanhood was made known
And his family revealed themselves, too
So his friends took over
To be the miraculous community of souls
As he flinched at the thought of returning
To the days once known
He was dismissed
Gracefully
From the slave
He had thought himself to be
And now
Out of respect
A dutiful oblation
He survives but his sadness lives on

| Posted by Scott Utley on 06/08/11 at 09:07 AM Like any potentially fatal disease, the art of symmetrizing the woman and man inside each of us is a blessing, the ridicule is from them lessor beings
who we love forgive and teach if they have ears to listen. |
