by Genevieve Sturrock

i didn't realize i was suffocating
until i saw your shadow move
and suddenly
i could breathe again

I like the dominant imagery of the shadow suffocating, such a great image, takes me back to the likes of the shadows in the movie Ghost...kudos, peace, jewels
