Carolina Jessamine (Haiku)

Trumpets blast the green.
Clusters scent the early Spring.
Gold Jessamine bloom.

...a most-japanese-like haiku...staying true to the "edge" of "nearly saying it" but NOT. each line walks. the last one is the hedda hopper hat.

BINGO! ! ! A traditional haiku ... and a very good one. Carolina Jessamine is exemplary of the form and discipline. I'm very happy to find such quality writing here. (A bit envious too) Well done. Sam

One of my favorite photographic subjects (flowers in general) nicely captured with the keyboard Clara Mae.
