Big Fat Poet by E. A. Pugh
It’s so easy to write a poem a day
Words just flow merry and gay
It’s so easy to make the readers weep
Feeling all the meaning of words so deep
Never a need for a rewrite or edit
Perfection in parody you’ll never discredit

Author's Note: after day 20 I am not sure I am getting out of this but discipline.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 04/21/11 at 08:01 PM The title makes me think of an overflowing being, and your comment on the "ease" of writing one a day, this short parody delivers. (better you than me ;) ) |

Posted by Steve Michaels on 04/22/11 at 01:34 AM I once competed against Stephan Anstey for the most poems in a day. After 99 I almost gave up the idea of writing ever again. LOL |
