phenomnomnominal

by Desdemona Sinestra

the mother warned
you're only as weak as the hands that choke you
the drugs that sniff sniff and seal your lips
snuff out the the mother hiding in your hips
before she opened her face
her skeleton beaming like the moon
superstition and awe
over every stupid head she loomed
the tears that sniff sniff and seal your doom

Congrats on POTD! Strong stuff here, I really liked the "sniff sniff".
