forgive me, please,
as I know - aloneness


it's not for everyone
but I know it, so well...


it's that feeling of entering
into a room with no windows,


although, somehow you're happy
that there's at least a lightswitch


and this means that the darkness
is rightfully forced away, wherever

Poignantly written, you know how to say it like it is and still have it pull in the reader's emotion.

I agree with Elizabeth above, and in addition I love how this poem lays it all out like a carpet on which to fly toward resolving a loneliness and a melancholy to which all poets are prone.
