Cockroach Masterpieces

Cockroach Masterpieces

Bukowski, don't get me wrong,

as I'm honestly a fan, but I'm

left wondering, "what the hell!"

brother, fellow writer, and wise poet,

I read your hooker and her cockroach

poem! wow dude, what were you ON?

and/or what'd you drink and how much?

because, although kinda fun and funny

and majorly silly, that piece is so nutty.

just like Peter Pan, crunchy style, nuts

all that being said, "I find myself with

this urge to write my own cockroach

masterpiece, and I steer clear of most

of the worldly vices, go figure. I'm odd!"

Well, first I had to go read The Night I Killed Tommy - wow! those images are not going to leave my head anytime soon! Bukowski was one zany dude. I like how you gave it the "Peter Pan, crunchy style, nuts" review. Thanks, James.
