Any Spider Might

by James Blaylock

Any Spider Might

spinning a silky web

as any spider might,

turning wildly, legs flying,

busy as you please, please

there was nothing in the corner

before you choose to add to it...

but now, we've our eyes fixated

upon the great bug around here

I can really dive into your style. That double please please delights, whoa -now you've pulled me in again!

I like how you've transformed an empty corner into a destination place for some spider super star. We used to feed the big cat-faced spiders on big evergreens at the nursery I worked - they became like pets we didn't pet - mesmerizing... Thanks for this.
