birds' fault by Charlie Morganenrique was telling me and the world
of early-morning was listening-in;
blue jays haven't started with their
raucous, irrating swoops at me for living.
so, because i started wondering then worrying
about the jays, i missed what enrique liked
about his boss; his career; his family.
it's the fault of birds that i lost enrique;
left him hanging with words said i could not hear.
electricity faltered and the connection broken.
just one more thing to worry about; sheesh!
this life and one more.
and just one Jesus. 03/26/2011 Posted on 03/26/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Glenn Currier on 03/26/11 at 04:45 PM Again I find myself mixed up in the mixed up world that beckons at every moment my attention - unable to decide where to light. How often I have beat up on myself for abandoning a person with whom I am SUPPOSED to be in conversation - which usually means - a two-way communication between two or more individuals. Yes, guilt abounds. Sure am glad Someone out there and in here forgives me. Thanks, Chaz. |
