A Letter to A

by Corry Tincher

It's T, H, E, N,
but you were there where the E should have been.

I'm referring to time,
not making a comparison.
Instead, it's you
that keeps coming out of my pen.
Well, I whited you out once,
and I will do it again.

Certainly this time, I'll write then and not than.

Humorous take on what perhaps most of us experience at one time or another or too often.

A good one about the nuances of our language. Congrats!
