Falling Haikus by Johnny CrimsonThe steel melts tonight.
My what big armor you have.
Metal bodies swim.
Remember the cross?
How such weather made us brave.
The old trusted reich.
Cuban-Russian hat
with many color options,
placed on select heads.
Dream illegal thoughts,
banner waving in the night.
Black then white in red.
Awake now wide-eyed.
Change that name and run with pride.
Hide where duck men pry.
Don't become ash now.
Stay the course and break these chains,
must they burn them all?
Scratch off your number,
no one is watching you now.
Here's your new barcode.

Posted by A. Paige White on 01/05/11 at 11:36 PM The first one is perfect. Is it the first one you wrote? The next four definitely group together well and carry an almost underground theme. I would like to see more to elaborate the sixth one. And of course the last one kicks ass. Awesome finish! You should be proud of this, it's fantastic. my pick for potd |
