Silent Lady

by Gregory R Schelske

Silent lady
may your tongue dance a thousand dances.
What is your song?
Where is your heart?

Silent lady
your breath flows like milk and honey,
and in the few words you do speak
I hear a symphony of joy.

Silent lady
Your lips have met mine - if even for a moment
and you found my mouth so full of questions
and my heart so full of answers.

I like the style in this thing. It especially lends itself well to that first stanza. Nice work.

Nice.Very nice.I love the structure and flow of this piece.I loved the spliced perceptions. But I especially love the last two lines. They are what makes this piece outstanding, with the layers of meaning underneath the words. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading very much.
