Silent Lady by Gregory R SchelskeSilent lady
may your tongue dance a thousand dances.
What is your song?
Where is your heart?
Silent lady
your breath flows like milk and honey,
and in the few words you do speak
I hear a symphony of joy.
Silent lady
Your lips have met mine - if even for a moment
and you found my mouth so full of questions
and my heart so full of answers. 06/18/2011 Posted on 11/01/2010 Copyright © 2025 Gregory R Schelske

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 11/01/10 at 08:06 PM I like the style in this thing. It especially lends itself well to that first stanza. Nice work. |
Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 11/02/10 at 03:52 PM Nice.Very nice.I love the structure and flow of this piece.I loved the spliced perceptions. But I especially love the last two lines. They are what makes this piece outstanding, with the layers of meaning underneath the words. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading very much. |
