a Robert Duncan
by Charlie Morganan old man man asked me,
'was i a Robert Duncan pictograph?'
a painting that made people
look real, like a picture.
i thought for a moment, then
i said, 'i'm not sure.'
i asked him, 'are you?'

I must look up more of his work because I have an affinity for the Beats. Still savoring Ginsberg's little book: Howl. Thanks buddy. |
