Untitled as of now...

by Bek Williams

This night
Supersecedes all nights
It's a rollercoaster on my mind

You said 'let's not fight'
And I took my time
In telling you that you were right

There's a look on your face
It says you know what to take
For all the bad ideas to go away

And we walked like summer, into fall
Till it was hard to say, which one of us was wrong at all

And I know it's hard
Living without the plastic cards
But baby, we'll be fine

The cable box
Has been turned off
But baby, we'll get by

And we walked like children to the sea
I like to hear you say there's nothing wrong with me

The unemployment checks
Keep buying less and less
And we only get by cause we have to

And we walked like summer into fall
These races were never fair to us at all
Yes we lived like summer was never gonna turn to fall
Neither one of us was ever wrong at all
