Triad (I)

by Anita Mac

I’ve got the Need
to run
surging through my veins.

I’m starting late;
fighting nature too long.
I know you’re so far ahead
and I will never catch up,
but I have this Need.

(And maybe next time
I’ll be around.)

Did the Need grow stronger the more you denied nature? Does running quell the need or merely abate it for a time. The Need... so much in so little --thanks for addicting me.

Tides turn, and disasters flow in threes -- a dry run acting out a rain dance :> Next up...

Good reminder that it's never too late to start running again, no matter the outcome. And maybe that other person will slow down so that you can catch up?!?!
