Dear Bruce Niedt, by Kristina WoodhillTo inform you
in certain terms
that Perseus,
my starry-eyed Father,
upon my
August 13th nativity,
let loose such
a string of
celebratory
exclamations
the sky fairly sizzled
forever fireworks;
like trick candles
one cannot extinguish,
i relish this delightful first gift,
each rotation bringing
me back around
to my cosmic cometic beginnings,
the sparkle in
my still young eyes
renewed,
though my gnarled toes
trench yet deeper
and my human
knees bend
to bear the weight

| Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 06/26/10 at 09:31 PM Hey I know about this, saw it to, though I was a few years past nativity. I was awakened, told to "come see something I won't live to see again, but you might." Vivid inoculation into the cosmos. Thanks. |
